Rexburg, Idaho

Glenn and I began our day with another early start, heading to the car rental thanks to Sue.  When we arrived, they upgraded our car to an SUV - very nice.

We drove for three hours from Kaysville to Rexburg - not much to look at, but if you like mountains and valleys it was very picturesque.

The reason for travelling to Rexburg was to visit the missionary who converted and baptised Glenn's family 40 years ago.  What a wonderful couple.  They took us around Rexburg, which is famous for potato farming.  We drove around the Brigham Young University - where Thaine works.  We then visited a Bear Park - Oh Yeah! Close and friendly with bears, elks, deer and moose (not the chocolate kind).

We then came home and had dinner with their daughter and son-in-law.  We have spent the evening in such good company, laughing and sharing tall tales.  A very enjoyable evening.  Another family who have welcomed us in with open arms.  We have been very lucky.

An albino elk attacking our car!
